CORAL AND PEARLS COUNSELLING

A BAHÁ’Í INFORMED APPROACH

Relationships and marriages are hard.

“Marriage, like all our other relationships in life, is a process which, among other things, serves to grind the sharp edges off us. The grinding often hurts.” – Rúhíyyih Khánum

Sometimes that grinding feels unbearable, or the climate within the union has become so inhospitable that it’s clear something needs to change.

One or both partners may feel dissatisfied, there may be a betrayal of the sacred wedding vows or recurring conflict, which can potentially lead to a year of patience.

Whatever the circumstances, working alongside someone who’s practice and general worldview is shaped by the Bahá’í teachings can be helpful in changing the culture within the relationship.
